Dakota Fanning stars in Paramount Pictures’ “VICIOUS.”

A heart-pounding, temperamental, and frantic descent into fear — one that might just trigger your fight-or-flight.

Dakota Fanning delivers a career-highlight performance in Paramount’s newest horror thriller. When her character invites an unknown stranger into her home, a terrifying countdown begins the moment she leaves. What follows is a tense, claustrophobic battle for survival that forces her — and the audience — to confront a chilling question:

What would you give if you had to surrender something you hate, something you need, and something you love?

Dakota Fanning stars in Paramount Pictures’ “VICIOUS.”

The film grips you by the throat from its opening moments, immersing you in dread and uncertainty. Fanning’s near-solo performance is both haunting and commanding, pulling you into her unraveling reality. The pacing never falters, balancing introspection and pure panic in equal measure.

It’s a story steeped in isolation and desperation — one that makes you question what’s real and what’s imagined. Some of the character’s choices will make you squirm, others will leave you hopeless, and all of them will keep you glued to the screen.

Perfect for a late-night watch — lights off, popcorn in hand — this one will linger long after the credits roll.

Now streaming on Paramount+.
